Our Founders

Sri Sadananda Foods was born out of a vision to bring authentic, high-quality products to households across India. The journey of our founders, Mr. M.S. Nagaraju Gupta and Mr. Aswath Narayana Gupta, is a story of resilience, hard work, and dedication.

Mr. M.S. Nagaraju Gupta

The elder son of late Mr. Sathyanarayana Setty and Mrs. Susheelamma, Mr. Nagaraju Gupta grew up in the small village of Manempalli, on the Andhra-Karnataka border. Educated in a temple and completing high school in a neighboring village, he moved to Bangalore with the hope of creating a better future for his family, driven by his mother’s encouragement.

Starting with humble beginnings, he worked in a kirana store and lived in a modest sheet house. Recognizing the potential to grow, he invited his younger brother, Mr. Aswath Narayana Gupta, to join him in building a kirana store together. Later, they brought their parents to Bangalore to support and grow the family business.

Guided by their father’s insight, they saw the potential in sourcing high-quality ghee from their village. Mr. Nagaraju took the lead in sales, traveling store-to-store first on a cycle and later on his TVS, introducing their products to customers and building lasting relationships.

Mr. Aswath Narayana Gupta

Mr. Aswath Narayana Gupta played a critical role in sourcing the raw materials that became the cornerstone of their business. He traveled extensively, visiting different villages and suppliers to ensure only the best quality ingredients were used. His dedication to authenticity and attention to detail ensured that every product reflected the rich traditions and purity of their village heritage.

Together, the brothers combined their strengths, laying the foundation of what is today known as Sri Sadananda Foods—a brand built on trust, quality, and a passion for delivering authentic products to every household.
